Sat. Aug. 1, 1903 We finished repairing fence between Campbells & me at the Irvin farm.
Sun. Aug. 2, 1903 At home all day.
Mon. Aug. 3, 1903 I went to Atwood. Got beef & groseries for thrashing. 15 lb of beef $1.90, groseries $1.60. We thrashed 39 bu & it rained hard. The hands was here for supper.
Tues. Aug. 4, 1903 Correll & I went south of Atwood & he bought some timber. Paid $120. dollars for it. I took a sack of wheat to Atwood & exchanged it for flour.
Wed. Aug. 5, 1903 I went down to the Irvin farm to mow weeds & it rained. Ant Sofia & Ezras was at Shans. They came home with me.
Thurs. Aug. 6, 1903  Correll & I fixed the thrashing machine a little in the fore noon. We thrashed 312 bu of wheat & 285 bu of oats. 
Fri. Aug. 7, 1903 Thrashed at H. Bowers & Bankses in the fore noon & at H. Bowers in the afternoon on the F. Clinger Farm. 
Sat. Aug. 8, 1903 We helped H. Bowers & Fred Rink thrash till 4 o'clock
Sun. Aug. 9, 1903 Went to quarterly meeting. G. Miner stoped here for dinner.
Mon. Aug. 10, 1903 I took Etta to warsaw. She went to tend the Institute at winona. I paid W. Conrad $1.00 for shoeing ned & putting a new shaft in my buggy. Paid J. Grabner $1.30 for 2 plow handles & 1 point. Gave Etta $3.00
Tues. Aug. 11, 1903 We helped Pellet thrash in the fore noon & Curcandall in the after noon. 
Wed. Aug. 12, 1903 Dan plowed. We helped L. J. Harman thrash oats in the afternoon. 
Thurs. Aug. 13, 1903  I went down & mowed the weeds along the road at the Irvin farm 3/4 of a day. I et dinner & supper at B. Gokenhowers. Affa went to warsaw. Gave her 60 cts.
Fri. Aug. 14, 1903 I helped Dan start to plow in the oats field in the fore noon. Correll bailed straw for me in the after noon about 3 ton.
Sat. Aug. 15, 1903 Rained. F. Clinger & I went fishing & caught 21 & it rained in the afternoon. Paid Dan Blosser $5.00. He missed 1/2 day.

Mon. Aug. 17, 1903 Bailed straw in the afternoon. 56 bales. 
Tues. Aug. 18, 1903 Baled straw till 2 oclock. Bailed about 112 bales. Dan & I went to warsaw. I paid Grabner $1.20 cts for plow points & clevases.
Wed. Aug. 19, 1903 I went with Correll to Atwood. Salted my cattle in the fore noon. We fixed at the clover huller in the after noon.
Thurs. Aug. 20, 1903 Correll & I fixed at the clover huller. Dan missed today. 
Fri. Aug. 21, 1903 Correll & I oiled & repaired the clover huller. Gave Etta 55 cts.
Sat. Aug. 22, 1903 Finished the huller in the fore noon. Went with Correll to warsaw in the afternoon.
Sun. Aug. 23, 1903 Went to Sunday School & church at night.
Mon. Aug. 24, 1903 Rain. I chored in the fore noon. 
Tues. Aug. 25, 1903  I was sick. I mowed some weeds.
Wed. Aug. 26, 1903 I mowed weeds. 
Thurs. Aug. 27, 1903  Rain. Correll & I put the lower silinder in the huller.
Fri. Aug. 28, 1903 I took 61 doz of sweet corn ears to Almans at 6 cts per doz. I paid out to Allmans 85 cts. Paid to W. Mash for the huller belt $3.95. Borrowed $100.00 dollars of the St. Bank for 90 days.
Sat. Aug. 29, 1903  I took Harve Boggs down to the Irvin pasture to see a cow & calf. I traded him the cow & calf for a 2 year old steer & $2.50. Lib & I went to Warsaw.
Sun. Aug. 30, 1903 We went to Sunday School. Etta & Affa staded up there.
Mon. Aug. 31, 1903 Dan, John & I went down to the Irvin farm. H. Boggs got his cow today. I bought 22 lambs today of F. Correll. Gave him $4.25 per hundred. They weighed 11520 lb. Paid him cash $64.60. We tood down the fence between Boggs & me.
